Central to the religious life of the school is the person of Jesus Christ who came among us ‘as one who serves’ (Luke 22.27). Our Catholic school is committed to reaching out to help those in need, through charitable outreach initiatives. All outreach activities connect to the person of Jesus Christ and to the sacraments, especially the Eucharist. Drawing on the Catholic Social Teaching of the Church, we have a deep commitment to supporting a range of charitable organisations, families and individuals in need.

Our school community strongly supports Catholic charities and organisations such as Caritas Australia, Catholic Mission and the St Vincent De Paul Society. In particular, we regularly support the Liverpool Night Patrol service, and annually support the Vinnies Winter and Christmas Appeals.

We have a large group of students who form an active Mini Vinnies group, who meet on a weekly basis to learn about and raise awareness of a range of social justice issues within our wider community. These representative students organise and lead a range of fundraising initiatives and events to actively support these issues.

We also offer the Pope Francis Award Program to our senior students, who have responded to the call to serve others within our school and parish communities.
